The 3rd Annual West Virginia Go Green Convention is geared towards West Virginia businesses, citizens, and students to encourage them in making more environmentally friendly decisions. The day long event consists of a vendors show that demonstrates to the public what local and national businesses are doing to become more eco-friendly.
Our mission is to provide education about environmental sustainability and how it is economical and practical to make business and personal decisions that help protect and preserve the environment. Forbes Greenest States Survey ranks West Virginia dead last in environmental awareness and with that comes more energy than ever by our team to help change that statistic.
In order to promote this effort, we are offering this event free of admission to all attendees. The 3rd annual convention will take place in February of 2011 in Rockefeller Gymnasium at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Specific date and times of the convention will be posted soon.
